The AI Sprint Bootcamp is a hands-on, end-to-end experience where your teams move from vague AI mandates to tangible business results — in just 5 days. Working in 4 cross-functional teams, participants tackle real internal challenges and walk away with:
ALL OF THIS CAN BE DIRECTLY FED INTO PRDS.
with the help of our custom GPT assistant, teams can quickly collect, organize, and transfer their workshop outputs into structured formats for product, engineering, or delivery teams.
The Bootcamp builds two types of capability your organization needs to execute on AI: strategic and applied AI skills.
Up to 28 participants are split into 4 cross-functional teams, each working on a real challenge from their part of the business unit (a business challenge they want to solve with AI).
Each team completes a full end-to-end cycle:
→ Frame a high-value AI opportunity
→ Design and prototype a solution
→ Test with real users to validate assumptions before committing resources
→ Build and demo a functional AI agent MVP using no-code/low-code tools
Your teams don’t just gain knowledge — they leave with the confidence, language, and repeatable methods to run this process again across the organization.
Strategic AI Skills
Applied AI Skills
This program is built for cross-functional teams: product, innovation, operations, transformation, data — any group expected to deliver on AI goals without waiting for external help.
+ No prior AI expertise is required.
Day 1: AI Problem Framing
Teams identify, prioritize, and frame high-value AI opportunities aligned to business goals and user needs.
Days 2–3: AI Design Sprint
Teams turn opportunities into solution concepts, prototypes, and user-tested insights.
Days 4–5: AI Build Lab
Teams build functional AI agents using no-code/low-code tools and evaluate readiness for deployment.
Unlike hackathons, trainings, or outsourced consulting, this Bootcamp is built for speed, structure, and scale:
The AI Sprint Bootcamp is the result of a deliberate, high-trust collaboration between two specialist organizations with complementary strengths:
Design Sprint Academy and AI Academy.
Most programs are theory-only or tool-only. Most vendors are strong in either strategy or tech — never both. Most programs teach pieces of the solution.
This Bootcamp delivers the full stack:
Experts in structured innovation and decision-making
Experts in applied, responsible AI education
What is an AI Agent MVP? How is it different from an AI Prototype?
An AI Agent MVP is a functional, testable version of an AI-powered tool or assistant — built by your team using no-code or low-code platforms. It performs a real task (e.g., triaging emails, answering policy questions, summarizing reports, automating workflows) using real data and context.
It’s different from a prototype:
→ A prototype simulates how the AI solution might behave — usually built for testing ideas quickly with real users.
→ An AI Agent MVP is a working version of that solution — it actually performs the task and can be demoed, tested, and further developed.
In the Bootcamp:
→ On Day 3, teams build a customer-tested prototype during the AI Design Sprint.
→ By Day 5, that prototype is transformed into a fully functional AI Agent MVP during the AI Build Lab.
Both outputs are critical — the prototype ensures it’s the right solution, and the MVP ensures it’s ready to run.
What tech stack do you use to build the AI agents?
We use a flexible stack that includes GenAI models, no-code/low-code tools like Zapier and n8n, and automation platforms. The goal is fast, secure, and scalable development — without deep technical barriers.
Custom stacks (e.g. Azure OpenAI, AWS, GCP) can be used upon request.
Can we use our company’s licenses and infrastructure (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Azure, AWS)?
Yes. While the Bootcamp is optimized for certain tools, we can run it inside your approved infrastructure — ensuring data security and compliance.
How is data handled during the program?
We encourage the use of public or non-sensitive data. For organizations with stricter data policies, the Build phase can run entirely within your secure environment.
Is this just about ChatGPT and individual productivity tools?
No. This is about enterprise-grade AI agents built for business workflows — not personal productivity. Teams build working solutions that integrate with systems, automate work, and deliver measurable value.
What do teams leave with at the end of the Bootcamp?
Each team walks away with:
→ A validated AI use case aligned with business goals
→ A user-tested prototype
→ A functioning AI agent MVP
→ 12-month access to playbooks, community, and expert coaching
How is this different from an AI hackathon?
Hackathons are usually engineer-led, bottom-up events focused on generating demos — not delivering solutions. They’re great for creativity, but rarely aligned with business goals, and outputs often die the next day.
The AI Sprint Bootcamp is different:
→ It’s cross-functional, not just for “hackers” — business, product, design, and tech teams work together.
→ It’s strategically aligned — each team connects their challenge to real business goals from Day 1.
→ It’s outcome-driven — teams build and test solutions with real users, then ship functional AI agents by Day 5.
This isn’t innovation theater — it’s structured execution, done fast and right.
How is this different from an AI accelerator?
AI accelerators are typically centralized programs run by vendors, consultancies, or innovation teams. They’re often designed to explore AI potential, not to deliver business-aligned outcomes.
The problems with accelerators:
- They often build demos in isolation, disconnected from real operations or users.
- They rely on external experts, so internal teams don’t build lasting capability.
- They focus on experimentation, not execution — and usually leave behind ideas, not impact.
The AI Sprint Bootcamp flips that model:
✔️ It’s run inside your organization, with your real teams solving real challenges.
✔️ It’s fully cross-functional — teams include product, ops, design, data, and transformation.
✔️ It’s aligned from Day 1 to business goals, not just tech feasibility.
✔️ It delivers execution + capability — your teams leave with working AI agents and the ability to run the process again.
In short:
Accelerators incubate ideas.
The AI Sprint Bootcamp builds solutions — and the muscle to do it again.
How is this different from typical AI training programs?
Most AI training focuses on teaching tools and skills in isolation — which is valuable, but often disconnected from the real challenges people face at work.
The AI Sprint Bootcamp goes further:
✔️ It combines skill-building with problem-solving — participants apply what they learn to real business challenges from Day 1.
✔️ It’s contextualized to your organization — not hypothetical case studies or generic exercises.
✔️ It feels more like coaching or guided execution than training — teams learn by doing, supported by expert facilitators.
✔️ And they don’t just leave with skills — they leave with validated use cases, prototypes, and working AI agent MVPs.
This isn’t about learning tools.
It’s about learning to use those tools to create real value — fast.
Can the AI Sprint Bootcamp be tailored to our industry or internal challenges?
Yes — the Bootcamp is designed to be industry-agnostic and context-specific. That means your teams don’t work on hypothetical case studies — they bring real business challenges from their units.
Each team enters the Bootcamp with a challenge they want to solve using AI — even if they don’t know how yet. Over five days, we help them refine, frame, prototype, and build solutions using our structured methodology.
For example: In the construction industry, we worked with a company looking to improve on-site safety reporting. Within the Bootcamp, their team built an AI agent that could triage incident reports and flag risk patterns — reducing manual overhead and improving safety oversight.
Whether your focus is safety, customer experience, operations, or compliance — the Bootcamp adapts to your world, your tools, and your teams.
What makes you confident this approach works?
Because we’ve spent the past decade helping teams do exactly what this Bootcamp promises: go from ambiguity to clarity, from idea to execution — fast.
Design Sprint Academy has led hundreds of strategic design sprints across industries where stakes were high, clarity was low, and the pressure to deliver was real.
We’ve helped teams:
✔️ Navigate uncertainty and align quickly across departments
✔️ Validate solutions before making high-risk decisions
✔️ Frame the right problems in complex, fast-changing environments
✔️ Execute under pressure — not just theorize
We’ve worked across cultures and continents — from the Nordics to India, the U.S. to Saudi Arabia — helping teams bridge the gap between vision and delivery, even within deeply hierarchical or regulated environments.
AI Academy brings the complementary expertise:
They specialize in hands-on AI capability building, with over 12,000 professionals trained in building real, responsible AI solutions that work within business workflows — not just labs.
This Bootcamp is built on systems, not AI hype.
We’ve seen it work — because we’ve built it in the field, with the teams who need it most.
Can we use what we build in the Bootcamp to create real PRDs?
Yes — and we make it easy.
Teams leave the Bootcamp with everything they need to jumpstart delivery: validated use cases, customer-tested concepts, working AI agent MVPs, and clear problem framing tied to business goals.
All of this becomes valuable input for your PRDs, OKRs, or innovation proposals — no need to start from scratch.
To make it even easier, we give teams access to a custom GPT assistant that helps collect and organize workshop outputs into structured formats you can plug directly into your product templates or roadmaps.
This means less post-workshop cleanup — and more forward momentum.
How is this different from working with a big consultancy firm?
Big consultancies often deliver strategy from the outside in — polished decks, complex Playbooks, fancy frameworks, and a heavy invoice — but little internal capability.
The AI Sprint Bootcamp works the opposite way:
✔️ It’s a guided, hands-on experience that builds strategy and execution from the inside out — with your teams, solving your real problems.
✔️ Your teams do the work — they leave with ownership, not dependency.
✔️ They build real solutions — not just get told what’s possible.
✔️ They gain a repeatable system — not a one-off engagement.
We transfer capability — so you don’t have to call us next time.
You don’t need another roadmap. You need your teams building — and this Bootcamp gets them there in 5 days.
What kind of support is available after the Bootcamp?
The Bootcamp isn’t a one-off event — it’s designed to create lasting capability within your organization. After the 5-day intensive, every participating team gets 12 months of continued support to ensure momentum doesn’t fade.
This includes:
✔️ 12-Month Community Membership — Access to monthly clinics, expert Q&As, live coaching calls, and case study reviews hosted by Design Sprint Academy and AI Academy experts.
✔️ AI Sprint Playbooks & Toolkits — Teams receive reusable materials (Miro boards, templates, slide decks) so they can run the full process again internally.
✔️ Custom GPT-powered Copilots — Each team can use smart assistants trained on our methods to support future AI initiatives.
✔️ On-Demand Video Library & Live Lessons — Teams can continue learning and revisiting methods, tools, and best practices over the year.
✔️ Global Peer Network — Teams join a community of innovators from around the world, sharing use cases, methods, and lessons learned
I’m an individual — can I join the AI Sprint Bootcamp?
